The 2016 Campaign Team of the governing National Democratic Congress has denied media reports that, The Party has unduly delayed the launching of this years’ Manifesto.
Some Political Watchers have observed, that, the two leading Political Parties: The NDC and The NPP are not being fair to Ghanaians for keeping their Policy Documents to their chests with less than 90 days to the general election.
Reacting to the allegations, A Governance Expert And Policy Analyst, who is a Member of The NDC’s 2016 Campaign Sub-Committee On Research And Strategy, Kofi Kukubor, noted, that those Political Pundits got it all wrong.
According to him, two months to study NDC’s Manifesto is good enough for anyone interested in what The NDC has in stock for the next four years, if given the opportunity.
Meanwhile, President John Dramani Mahama is expected to give hints of The NDC’s, 2016 Manifesto via media interaction as a prelude to the main Launch of The Manifesto on Saturday September 17, in Sunyani, in The Brong Ahafo Region.
The event will be attended by Representatives Of International Organisations, The Diplomatic Corps, Business Associations And Youth Groups.
In an interview with XYZ NEWS, ahead of tonight’s manifesto highlights by The NDC’s Presidential Candidate, Mr. Kukubor, said, the alleged delay of the Manifesto launch cannot be seen as an attempt by The Party to ambush potential voters.
