Radio XYZ: ”WOMAN TODAY” with Ace broadcaster Gertrude Opare-Addo

The woman is one of the most misunderstood species on the face of the planet, earth. To some men, it is impossible to understand a woman and her needs. Some people ask: “Who is a woman?”, “what are the needs of a woman?” among others.

Your most authoritative radio channel, Radio XYZ 93.1 MHz is out with a program named “WOMAN TODAY”, tailored to provide answers to these mind-boggling questions.

WOMAN TODAY seeks to unravel the mystery that surrounds women and bring to bear the roles of women in the home, workplace and society at large,as well as their needs.

WOMAN TODAY is hosted by ace broadcaster and Head of Service at the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC), Gertrude Opare-Addo. Madam OpareAddo is also a marriage counselor, a former leader of the Women’s’ Ministry in her church and possesses a strong passion for issues that affect women and children. But she was quick to add that in a woman’s world are men also. In effect it is all embracing.

The program is very interactive as it engages the general public via txt and Whatsapp messages. In this current dispensation where moral decadence is the order of the day, WOMAN TODAY is that ray of hope that is expected to restore lost values, morals and decency in today’s woman and society at large.

WOMAN TODAY is NOT limited to female listenership. The maiden edition of the show saw men sending in messages commending the host and expressing satisfaction with the qualified resource person- Mrs. Flora Sackey, on the show. According to the host, Gertrude Opare-Addo, men who tune in to the program would have a great advantage because they will learn and discover amazing things about the woman they never knew.

WOMAN TODAY airs this and every Friday from 2 to 4pm on Radio XYZ 93.1 MHz.
