250 Lawyers Called To The bar

Two hundred and fifty newly qualified lawyers were on Friday September 30 called to the bar at a ceremony held at the State House in Accra.

Notable among them was the New Patriotic Party’s parliamentary aspirant for Ofoase/Ayirebi, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah.

Present at the ceremony were the Chief Justice, Mrs Justice Georgina Wood, the President of the Ghana Bar Association (GBA), Mr Benson Nutsukpui; a Supreme Court Judge, Ms Justice Sophia Akuffo, and the Deputy Attorney General, Mr Dominic Ayine.

Mrs Wood advised the lawyers to be professional in the discharge of their duties.
