Moses Owharo: Nigerians to stay away from Ghana’s election 2016

The President of All Nigerian Community, Ghana, Moses Owharo, has warned Nigerians in Ghana, not to get themselves involved in the politics of Ghana, especially as campaigns set in, for the 2016 Presidential and Parliamentary elections.

According to him, the up-coming election is meant for Ghanaians only, and any Nigerian who tries to vote, or engage in active Ghanaian politics, will be dealt with, according to the electoral laws of Ghana. He gave the warning at a News Conference held in Accra.

He said “our roles as the leadership of the community is to ensure effective mechanism, that will support and compliment, and ensure compliance with the laws and regulation of the election by our citizens (Nigerian), and so we will ensure collaboration with the Ghana Immigration and Ghana Police, to support in reducing crime among Nigerians”.

The President, Of Igbo Community in Ghana, Dr. Vincent Joseph Anyaegbunam, said, his outfit has begun sensitizing his people, to distant themselves from Ghana’s politics, for peace to prevail.
