Highlife great, Amakye Dede is yet to be told his manager, Isaac Yeboah did not survive their accident on Saturday, January 2.
According to reports, doctors are withholding that news from the musician because they believe it would hurt his recovery if he is informed.
The musician was billed to perform at The Paradise near the Bonsu Junction in the Eastern region but a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter bus rammed into his vehicle.
Amakye Dede got out of a mangled car with bruises while his bodyguard has been left in critical condition. Isaac Yeboah was killed instantly.
We have gathered that doctors at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, where the musician is currently receiving treatment, say they do not want to worsen his state by breaking the news to him.
They believe that it will not be prudent to inform Amakye Dede of the tragic death before he is discharged later Monday.
The condition of the musician has improved greatly;
