The Member Of Parliament for Bortianor/Nglishie/Amanfro, in The Greater Accra Region, Bright Demordzi, has handed over a Health Post, situated at Langma, to The Ga South Municipal Health Directorate.
The Facility, to be used as Child Welfare Clinic, For Children, under 5, and to screen women for non-communicated diseases, has a Mechanised borehole, with Water Storage Facility, Refrigerator, A Bed, OPD, Consulting Room, Office Tables And Chairs worth GHc 90,000 is expected to serve a population of over 100,000 people in First Aid Services.
The Health Post is one of the numerous promises, made by The MP for Area, in the lead-up to the 2012 Parliamentary Election.
Speaking, at the handing-over ceremony to hand over the fully-stocked facility, The MP has sponsored a day Medical Screening Exercise for the Indigenes. According to him, The Langma Health Post is just one of the Health Facilities, he has delivered, and promised to do more if voted, for again.
Receiving the keys, to The Facility, The Municipal Health Director, For The Ga South, Dr. Bright Davis Teye, noted that, The Health Post, has come at a time, people need it, in order to access health care, without travelling to Krokrobite, to be treated.
