Over the past year, the bank has embarked on a journey towards revitalizing the brand with the renewed vision to becoming the local bank of excellence for African markets and the strategic goal of becoming a tier one bank by end of 2020.

As part of its renewed vision, the bank will be rolling out contemporary branches that are world class in terms of visual appeal but also communicate the strong African identity.

The old Osu outlet has been replaced with a modern branch on the Oxford Street.

By end 2016 , Capital Bank promises to expand its branch network to 22 by rolling out ultra-modern branches in East Legon, Achimota and Harper Road in Kumasi.

Also the current branch in Pampaso, Kumasi, will be relocated to provide a more enhanced banking experience for clients.

In its bid to creating a world class visual identity, the bank has put in mechanism to ensuring that its personnel delivering the service are equipped and empowered to deliver first class services.

The bank has strengthened the executive leadership and also enhanced its human capital to make it more adept at responding to changing customer needs and the dynamics of the banking industry.

It also partnered Africa World Airlines to make it possible for customers to book and buy their Africa World Airline tickets from any Capital Bank branch.

Speaking at the official opening ceremony, the Managing Director of Capital Bank, Rev.

Fitzgerald Odonkor said the bank wants to consciously create long term relationship with its customers.

“We will also like to take this opportunity to thank our customers and strategic partners for the support throughout the transitional process and for giving us the impetus to make giant strides.
