After being rewarded with a Presidential Charter, to reward its own Degrees, Diplomas and other Certificates, The Central University, has opened an ultra-modern campus in Kumasi, to help compliment the educational needs of residents in The Ashanti Region.
The campus, is equipped with modern facilities, suitable for today’s learning and research, is adjacent to the beautiful and serene grounds of the popular Calvary Charismatic Church (CCC).
The Kumasi campus was established to bring Central University‘s global brand of transformational and top-quality education to the people of the Ashanti Region and its environs.
The Kumasi campus is expected to admit students for the 2016/17 academic year, year which begins this September. It will run programmes including Bachelor of Science in Management Studies, Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness Management, Bachelor of Science in Banking and Finance, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with options in Marketing, Human Resource Management, Accounting and Bachelor of Arts in Theology.
The Post Graduate programmes also include MBA Finance, MBA Marketing, and MBA General Management.
The Kumasi campus adds to the growing number of campuses of Central University. The other campuses are Mataheko, Christ Temple and the permanent campus at Miotso.
The University became fully-fledged University early this year, and is arguably the biggest private university in Ghana, with students from over 25 countries. The University, currently, offers a wide range of quality programs through its four Schools and two Faculties.
The Schools are; School of Applied Sciences, School of Theology and Missions, Central Business School and the Graduate School. The faculties are;Faculty of Law and Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences.
