Corruption has moved from bad to worse in Ghana: Anti-Corruption Campaigner

The former MP for Asikuma-Odoben-Brakwa Constituency, in the Central Region, and Anti-Corruption Campaigner, Paul Collins Appiah Ofori, said, corruption has moved from bad to worse in Ghana.

According to him, various Governments have either failed or lack the political will to fight the canker, especially in the public sector.

He noted that all Governments from The NPP, John Agyekum Kufour, through, the late Professor John Atta Mills led Government, to the current Administration led by President John Dramani Mahama, have tried their best.

Their best however, has not been good enough to combat it. Talking to Kwaku Vander-Pallen, on The Breakfast Show, he disclosed that, corrupt practices are bound to occur in the public service.

Hhowever, called on the Government and The Law Enforcement Agencies to apply the relevant laws without fear or favour.
