Energy Bank To Expand Operations In Ghana

Having operated in Ghana for five years, Energy Bank is planning to expand its business to other parts of the country.

The financial intermediary plans to roll out new branches and agencies particularly in Kumasi, Takoradi and Accra. It presently has 11 branches and one agency in four regions of the country including the northern region.

Speaking at a cocktail event for private banking clients as part of the bank’s customer service week, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Energy Bank, Christiana Olaoye said in the banks quest to become a stronger player in the retail banking space, it has reviewed its business model in order to cater for the various banking publics, adding “Energy Bank has strengthened our service delivery points to effectively reach all our banking customers. We are currently working on technology-enabled products and services that will be instrumental to our goal of improving financial inclusion throughout Ghana.”

Continuing, she said “Energy Bank is committed to catering for the needs of our discerning clients, offering them financial solutions for accumulation and preservation of personal wealth, as well as financial solutions for business objectives.

She added that Energy Bank’s brand promise since inception of the bank in 2011 has been “Supporting Your Aspirations”, explaining further that the bank’s objective for Private Banking is to provide financial solutions today that will facilitate wealth creation and preservation of this for tomorrow’s generations.

On the bank’s private banking business, MrsOlaoye said “Our Private Banking service is a one-stop shop that meets all the banking needs of our high net worth individuals. We offer a full range of banking services, complemented by e-banking services and products, guided by the promise to support your aspirations.”

Going forward, she noted that Energy Bank was partnering with legal and accountancy firms to deliver solutions in the area of wealth preservation and transfer, and are also working with tax consultants to proffer solutions on taxation.

She concluded by saying that Energy Bank will not relent in its efforts towards delivering superior value and customer-centric services.

“The relationships we share with you are very dear to us, and we will work to ensure that we are available to render service to you at all times.”

Some customers of the bank expressed satisfaction with the products and services offerings to them by Energy Bank, urging the bank to keep the good work being done.
