Ghana Beach Soccer League makes international headlines ahead of week 17

Being the fastest growing sports in the country, the CAL Bank sponsored Ghana Beach Soccer League gained global recognition, as the official website of its world governing body, beachsoccer.com projected the start of the second round.

This follows a successful week for the sand sports who also reached a sponsorship agreement with Chill Ice Ghana. XYZ Sports looks at fixtures coming up in week 17 at the Laboma Beach Soccer Arena.

Having earned their first point of the season with a goalless draw against Tegbi Youth, bottom side, Nima BSC could be gunning for more sports as they test their might against Layoca BSC who fell 3-2 to Gulf Powers prior to this game.

Wuo Gbee will hope to build on their 5-3 thrilling win against African Angels in a match against Tema United who were demolished 7-0 by former champions, Havedzi Mighty Warriors at the start of the second round.

Ada Assurance will fight to lift themselves after their shock 3-0 loss to Golden Eagles. Will Tegbi Youth surprise the Ada-based lads this weekend too?
