Ghanaian gospel musician, Celestine Donkor has revealed that had, it not been for grace, she would not have been alive after her mother tried to abort her on two occasions.

According to her, the singer revealed this on an interview on GhOne Television; narrating that her mother after given birth to six children already and decided to abort the seventh but was warned by a fetish priest she consulted.

“My mother decided not to give birth again so when I was conceived, she opted for an abortion. Hence her decision to see a fetish priest for some concoctions but things changed as the priest warned her never to try it because the child in her womb was going to be a star and if she tries, she will lose her life.”

When Celestine’s mother insisted on aborting the baby sought for help elsewhere which eventually left her bedridden. It was only until she went into labour that she was able to walk.
