The Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) has indicated that it would give preference to personnel who performed their national service with the authority in the on-going mass recruitment exercise.
Some of the applicants who submitted their applications at the head office of Graphic Comm. Group Limited. Graphic received the applications on behalf of the GRA.
An internal memo issued on Monday, September 19, 2016 and signed by the Commissioner General for Support Services Division (SSD), Mr G.K. Katamani to all Heads of the GRA said contract staff may also apply.
The memo, a copy of which has been seen by Graphic Online explained that Heads are to ensure that the applications received from the national service personnel are forwarded to the Head Office Registry by close of work on Friday September 23, 2016.

It asked personnel who were stationed at the Head Office or Kinbu to submit their applications directly at the Registry, Room 304, 3rd Floor GRA Head Office.
It said for the avoidance of doubt, “Curriculum Vitae (CV) and copies of Academic Certificates should be attached to the applications. Applications without these attachments shall be rejected.”
It added, “Category A & B applicants should not be more than; 31years as of December 31, 2016 and 28years as of December 31, 2016 respectively.”
“Applicants in Categories A & B, will be required to show proof of National Service certificates as well as birth certificates shuld they be short-listed after participation in the aptitude test.
Thousands of graduates in August besieged the head office of the Graphic Communications Group Limited (GCGL) in Accra to submit their applications to be enlisted into GRA.
This followed an advertisement in the newspapers that asked for applications for candidates to fill various positions, including senior and junior officers in the GRA.
