Hearts of Oak Managing Director, Gerald Ankrah, has resigned from the club after 15 months in charge.
Starr Sports can confirm that Ankrah was fed up with the interference from the board members and the newly formed strategic committee headed by Vincent Sowah-Odotei.
He is said to be also disregarded by the team which took charge of recruitment and key decisions by also not providing funds for his execution.
Ankrah took over from Neil Armstrong Mortagbe in September 2014 after the ex-FIFA Marketing Consultant was interdicted and fired.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), and decided to quit ahead of a board meeting on Monday.
Meanwhile, Vincent Odotei (Obama) is said to take over Accra Hearts of Oak as the acting General Manager.
