Vincent Bosso, who has been accused of abetting the murder of the former Member of Parliament for Abuakwa-North, Mr Joseph Boakye-Danquah Adu, has been accused by the police of stealing GhȻ20 in custody.
Bosso, was confronted by the police for stealing the money after a GhȻ20 note left on the counter at the Police station where he is being kept went missing when he was being prepared for court.
The police after a search on the accused person found the money wrapped in a white paper in his pocket.
The search took place in the courtroom of the Accra District Court before the case was called.
Meanwhile, the state withdrawn the original charges in the case and subsequently filed fresh charges.
Daniel Asiedu who was first arrested for the murder of the MP has been charged with murder while Bosso has been charged with abetment.
The case has since been adjourned to June 2, 2016.
