KNUST gets new Vice-Chancellor

The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has appointed Prof. Kwasi Obiri-Danso as its new Vice-Chancellor.

His four-year tenure takes effect from August 1, 2016 to July 31, 2020.

Prof. Obiri-Danso holds a Bachelors Degree (Biological Sciences) and an MPhil (Food Microbiology) from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, and a PhD – Environmental Microbiology) from Lancaster University, United Kingdom.

According to a statement from the acting registrar of KNUST, Ben Andoh, Prof. Obiri-Danso is currently the Provost of the College of Science at the KNUST.
