A statement from the Flagstaff House has announced that President John Dramani Mahama will be in Abidjan, Côte D’Ivoire, today, June 1, for an official visit at the invitation of Alasanne Ouattara, the Ivorian President.
He will be accompanied by his wife, Lordina, and a high-powered government delegation.
Mr Mahama will hold talks with his Ivorian counterpart, and will also be decorated with Ivory Coast’s highest national award.
“The President will also receive the key to Abidjan and an honorary citizenship of Côte D’Ivoire,” the Statement added.
Mr Mahama is scheduled to return to Accra on Thursday.
