Mahama inaugurates modern lab at Ho Poly

President John Dramani Mahama has inaugurated a modern engineering learning systems laboratory for the Ho Polytechnic in the Volta Region.

President John Mahama joined by Prof Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang (3rd left), the Minister of Education, Ms Helen Ntoso (right), the Volta Regional Minister, Prof. Emmanuel Kojo Sakyi (left), Rector of Ho Polytechnic, to cut the tape to inaugurate the new engineering lab for the Polytechnic.

During the inauguration president Mahama urged the incoming technical universities to be entrepreneurial-oriented stating that courses related to health care should have a linkage with the job market.

The laboratory, funded by the government and other partners, is designed for hands-on training, industrial skills development and technical problem solution.
