President John Dramani Mahama will today, 12 April 2016, take the second leg of his tour of the 10 regions of Ghana to the Eastern region.
Dubbed ‘Accounting to the People Tour’, the president first toured the Western Region, where he inaugurated some projects and met with chiefs and people there.
In the Eastern region, Mr Mahama is first expected at Odumase Krobo where he will meet the chiefs of the Krobo Traditional Area prior to having interactions with its people and later inspect the progress of road works there.
Mr Mahama will also visit Akwamufie, and the Abirem and Ofoase areas. In the Afram Plains, President Mahama will inaugurate a ferry and join passengers to be transported across the river to Kpando in the Volta region.
He will also be inaugurating some educational facilities and other projects in the region as part of his official visit.
