Ghana’s leading Store, Melcom Group of Companies, has revealed that, it will soon open a Branch at Wa, in the Upper West Region, to achieve a National coverage.

The Company, also envisages the completion of the new Achimota Shop, to bring shopping to the door step of people, in and around the Community.

Speaking, at a donation exercise, by the Melcom Group of Companies, the Director of Communications, at Melcom noted that, the donation is to celebrate Ghana’s attainment of 56years of its Republican status.

According to Mr. Godwin Avenorgbor, children must be well -trained and educated enough, to take over the mantle of leadership so that, we can achieve sustainable development.

That summarized their reasons for the donation, as Ghana enters a new Republic Anniversary Year. Clothing items were donated to over 300 pupils from Dolly Memorial School and St.Theresa’s Junior High School both in Accra.

The Headmistress of the St.Theresa Junior High School, Reverend Paula Nkansah Okyere, who received the donations, on behalf of the School, thanked the Melcom Group of Companies, for the kind gesture.Melcom, as part of its Community Service Agenda, will be organizing a National Blood Donation exercise on Thursday, the 28th of July, 2016 across the nine regions, where they are located, to help Hospitals, that are in dire need of blood, to save lives.
