The erratic power crises, in some parts of the Country is making life uncomfortable. As Stakeholders, in the power supply chain and The Sector Ministry, continue the blame game, many Ghanaians are sleeping in the dark, at least three times, every week.
Many Companies have halted employment or reduced their Staff strength in order to avoid additional cost, after buying so much fuel, to power their generators during production.
As many of these innocent Ghanaians wonder how come the situation has moved from bad to worse, the MP for Efutu, Alex Afenyo Markins, in an interview with XYZ News, said the problem could be put at the door step of this Government. According to him, The John Mahama-led Government has no intention of solving the energy crisis.
Mr. Afenyo, thinks, The Finance Minister who has been acting as Power Minister, for more than seven month, does not show commitment in pushing Central Government to revolve the power challenges.
According to him, The Government lacks ideas, when it comes to taking concrete measures to deal with the energy quagmire.
