In the recent attempt to disfigure the hard earned reputation of Dr. john Gatsi ,a Senior Lecturer at the University of Cape Coast by what is termed as investigative report by Dr. Dotse and Dr. Tsikata who mentioned Dr. Goski Alabi and a host of lecturers from the University of Professional Studies, Accra, as well as Dr. John Gatsi of the University of Cape Coast, as influential individuals who have allegedly acquired doctorate degrees from the Swiss Management Centre.
The pulse.com reporter asked the Executive Secretary of National Accreditations Board (NAB) , Mr Kwame Darkey whether or not that mean their degrees are illegitimate?
The Executive Secretary of the National Accreditation’s Board emphatically said NO.
The degrees acquired from SMC in Ghana over the period in which they were legitimately registered with the National Accreditation’s Board are valid.
The Lecturerer said he completed in 2014 when SMC University was boldly, visibly and plainly listed on the website of the NAB.
After that period he said he has nothing to do with the School. He , however, explained that he was informed by many that they enrolled on the programme because of his stature hence the attempt to destroy him.
He further indicated that for him, two things are important in life- Let God be on your side and let the Law be on your side.
