Former Member Of Parliament, for Keta, in The Volta Region and, currently, Member of the NDCs 2016 Communications Team, Dan Abodakpi, has debunked assertions, that, The governing Party has neglected the Region, when it comes to developmental projects.
The region this year alone has recorded several agitations due to the rather low of Government Projects, unemployment, poor road networks, among other socio-economic programmes.
Just this week, some indigenes of Kpando petitioned The President to remove their MCE, after they realised that, The Municipality had been among the Poorest District in Ghana.
Not too long ago, the Youth of Ho blocked roads leading to the township, demanding their share of the National Cake and threatened not to vote, this December if their roads are not fixed.
In an exclusive interview, with Francis Edzorna Mensah, The Former Minister of Trade, Dan Abodakpi said, it is false, for someone to say, that the Volta Region, is losing interest in the party, in the lead-up to the general election.
He described the assertion as a figment of people’s imagination.
He said, he is not worried, and The NDC is not shaken, moving into The December polls. He challenged the people who are critical of The Party, to wait and see what the results will be, by December, 9, 2016.
