The Commander-in-chief and President of the Republic of Ghana, H.E. John Dramani Mahama at the Military Academy & Training School Square to commission the newly trained officers of Ghana Armed Force.
Mahama stated “We must remain temperate in our utterances and be tolerate of opposing views. I appeal to all Ghanaians to cooperate with our security services and the institutions charged to ensure success of our elections.
“…As a government we’ll maintain the highest credibility of our elections and we’ll continue to do everything possible to safeguard our democracy.”
Mahama assured the security services that they will be “retooled” to protect the nation ahead of the elections.
