The Omanhene of the Wassa Fiase Traditional Area, Odeneho Akrofa Kurkoko II, has called on his people to rally behind him for the rapid development of the area.
He asked the youth of the area to pursue productive ventures such as education, vocational training and apprenticeship to enhance their future prospects.
He further entreated those still schooling or pursing vocations to study hard for a bright future and asked parents to support their children and prepare them to be responsible adults.
He also asked parents to invest in their children’s education and desist from spending all their money on personal belongings.
Odeneho Kurkoko said social vices such as premarital sex and alcohol abuse undermined the progress of young people and urged the youth to lead upright lives worthy of emulation.
He also advised chiefs in the area to use their experiences and expertise in their various fields for the development of the area.
Odeneho Kurkoko also urged the chiefs to continuously support him to achieve the goals and objectives of the traditional council.
