Popular dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has said he never knew New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer Nana Akufo-Addo is a “great fan” of his songs.
The three-time presidential candidate used the lyrics of Shatta Wale’s song to serve notice that ahead of the December 7 polls, he will be coming like “Kakai”.
The musician’s hit song – ‘Mahama Paper’ – is the unofficial campaign song of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), however, the NPP used his other hit music ‘Kakai’ to warm up their fans at their manifesto launch.
The award-winning entertainer reacted on Twitter, saying: “I never knew Nana Akuffo was a great fan …U deh come like kakai ampa …This years politics is called shattatics”.
