Sympathizers troop to murdered Abuakwa North, MP JB Danquah Adu’s Residence

Sympathizers have started trooping to the Shiashie residence of the late Hon. Joseph Boakye Danquah Adu and Member of Parliament for Abuakwa North.

Hon. Joseph Boakye Danquah Adu was stabbed to death his bedroom early hours of Tuesday, 9th February, 2016.

 

Police have begun investigations into the incidence to ascertain the cause or circumstances leading to his unfortunate death.

 

The Abuakwa North MP was the grandson of the doyen of Ghana’s politics Dr J. B Danquah, who played a significant role in pre- and post-colonial Ghana.

 

Joseph Danquah Adu, a chartered accountant, would have been 51 in July.

 

He was a Deputy Women and Children’s Affairs Minister in the John Agyekum Kufuor administration.

 

Prior to becoming an MP, he was the Executive Director, Automotive Springs (Ghana) Limited, Accra.

 

He left behind a wife and two children.
