A month ago, William Addo, who was suffering from glaucoma and cataract, requested GHc5000 for surgery to prevent him from going blind.
Some benevolent individuals heeded his call and rallied to his aid with the donation, enabling him to undergo successful surgery on his left eye.
In a recent interview with Accra-based radio station, William Addo said the additional GH₵5000 was required for surgery on his right eye.
He said the glaucoma and cataract affect both eyes and that when he made the first request for financial support, it was meant for one eye.
The actor said the second surgery would take place at the Inter-Star Eye Clinic and Laser Centre in Accra as soon as he got hold of the money.
William Addo expressed gratitude to all those who provided him with financial support ahead of the first surgery, noting that he was responding to treatment and would go for a third review soon.
